RICE FIELD WALK
Bali is at its best when explored on foot, up close and personal. Experience this first hand from Umakita’s doorstep. Ubud’s centre is a leisurely 45 minute walk away on a clear, 3km long path through some of Ubud’s most authentic scenery, but you will want to linger. Daily farming rituals are on full display depending on the season, and you can enjoy stunning views, a fresh coconut, small artisan galleries, organic farms & cafes, or even a holistic massage while you explore at will. The journey is perfect for strolling or biking, and a pickup return from Ubud to Umakita can even be pre-arranged as needed.
PURA PUSEH BENTUYUNG TEMPLE
A local temple popular with visitors and worshippers is located less than a kilometer from Umakita. Pura Puseh Bentuyung village holds a number of religious festivities including Balinese traditional dance depending on the calendar. Tickets and donations for the necessary Balinese attire to enter is available from in front of the temple. Only Balinese locals are allowed into the inner sanctuary.
THE PYRAMIDS OF CHI
